Peter
Swire is the
C.
William O’Neill
Professor of Law at the Moritz College of Law of the Ohio State
University. He lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Swire is director of the Moritz summer program in D.C.
and he is a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress. From March, 1999 until January, 2001 Swire served as the Clinton Administration's Chief Counselor for
Privacy, in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. USA Today
produced a
profile of Swire's work in the
White House. He also served on the Obama-Biden Presidential
Transition Team.
