Swire is updating his research on “The Portability and Other Required Transfers Impact Assessment (“PORT-IA”): Assessing Competition, Privacy, Cybersecurity and Other Considerations.” The FTC and OECD included Swire in their public workshops on these topics.

DATA LOCALIZATION AND CYBERSECURITY PROJECT

TEACHING PRIVACY AND CYBERSECURITY

Swire teaches “Privacy Technology, Policy, and Law” (with Prof. Antón) and “Information Security Strategies and Policy.” Swire published a framework (2018) for teaching the non-code aspects of cybersecurity.
